How many songs do you have?
My music library consists of over 20,000 songs that has been collected from the past 20 years and is growing on a daily basis. If I don't have it, every effort will be made to get it legally.

What types of music do you have?
I have a wide variety of music that includes: rock, country, pop, hip hop, latin, alternative, jazz, reggae, swing, oldies, new wave, r&b, motown, disco, funk, ballroom, standards, freestyle, house, techno, & classic rock.  All of the popular genres of music from the 1940's to present day. Do you provide a written contract?
Yes, all important details are included in an easy to read contract so that both parties have a full understanding of the agreement.

Can you provide a list of references?
Sure, I can provide a list of references along with their contact information.  They can all attest to my DJ abilities and their level of satisfaction. Click Here to see some of my reviews.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total balance and a signed contract is required to reserve a date.  

Do you play Latin music? What types?
Many of my clients are spanish-speaking and request Latin music. I can play Salsa, Mambo, Merengue, Cumbia, Banda, Ranchera, Corrido, Mariachi, Tex-Mex, Reggaeton, Duranguense, Norteno, Bachata, & Rock En Espanol.

Do you play clean radio versions of songs?
Most Definitely!  The last thing we need is to offend anyone by playing songs with explicit lyrics, especially with youngsters present.  

How many DJs are in your company?
Ultimate Sounds is solely owned & operated by myself and that guarantees I will be the actual DJ at your event. This allows me to control quality and offer great customer service to my clients.

What brands of equipment do you use?
For sound equipment, I use Denon CD players & mixers, Pioneer mixer, Apple MacBook Pro laptop, Rane Serato Scratchlive software, Mackie speakers, Technics turntables, Shure wireless microphones, Electrovoice speakers, and Ultimate Stands. For lighting, Martin, Chauvet, and American DJ are used.

Do you provide party lights?
Yes, I always include party lights for all of my events, unless otherwise specified or the event is located outdoors during daylight hours. The amount of appropriate lighting depends on the size & type of event.  Don't forget to ask about the customized name/monogram in lights shining on the dancefloor or wall.

Do you play requests?
Of course, as a matter of fact, I welcome & encourage them.  You can even give me your "do not play" list or make a play list on the bottom of the music page.


Do you have liability insurance?
Yes, my policy covers $1,000,000 in damages through Firemen's Fund Insurance Company. This is a very important issue and is often overlooked by most clients. Let's say, one of the DJ's lights causes a fire at your venue or a speaker on a stand tips over, lands on someone and causes an injury. No one thinks about insurance until it is really needed. You can rest easy knowing Ultimate Sounds is covered against unpredictable accidents.

What are your fees?
My prices vary depending on type of event, duration, number of guests, and location.  Please call or e-mail for an exact quote and remember:  No price is a good price, if you don't like the quality.
